Limerick County Council has deployed water tankers across West Limerick to deal with the problem.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up The Council says the crisis has been caused by low water levels in the reservoir near Abbeyfeale including burst pipes and a greater demand because of the freezing weather.The tankers are being placed in Abbeyfeale, Athea, Mountcollins and Tournafulla during daylight hours.The Council is asking the public to conserve water and not to leave taps running in their homes. Premier league champions Asante Kotoko will play New Edubiase in the Ghana Super Cup contest on September 30, according to the GFA.The Cup match will be played a week to the start of the Ghana premier league which kicks off on October 7.Kotoko earned the right to play in the match by virtue of their title as league champions while New Edubiase’s FA Cup title earned them the other ticket. “The league is expected to start on October 7 but a week before that which is September 30th, the winner of the league will play the winner of the FA Cup,” Ghana FA president Kwasi Nyantakyi disclosed.“Therefore it means Asante Kotoko will face New Edubiase for us to see who the champion of champion is.”The Super Cup contest will be used to honour the memory of renowned football administrator Alhaji Sly Tetteh who died in September last year.
