The concept of the garden is that of an agrarianlandscape, planted in a system of curved terraces that follow the dialogue ofthe access walls, flanked by the 25 m pool, designed to swim. Projects Architects: Cazú Zegers Area Area of this architecture projectcenter_img 2011 “COPY” This house is located in anextraordinary urban space, it is proposed as a “pavilion open to the landscape”.The back, which coincides with the access, is hermetic, closed by curved walls, inspired by the experience of walking through the sculpture of Richard Serra inGuggenheim Bilbao with my daughter Clara. It is a single-family houselocated at the foot of Manquehue hill in Santiago. It does not require to beconsidered as a special, or different, architecture, but instead is focused ongenerating a homogeneous facade with the neighboring house (which belongs to mysister), designed by the national architecture prize winner Luis Izquierdo. Thus,Soplo House takes the lines from Rollan Zegers house, opening a greatterritorial space to the view. Save this picture!© Isabel Fernandez+ 55 Share Year:  Save this picture!© Isabel Fernandez+ 55In the interior, we focus onextreme subtraction, an open space with a double circulation, one in the back, hermetic, and the other through the landscape, which means that no room reachesthe facade window. We thereby generate a dynamic space without hierarchies. Thedwelling happens in a continuous flow, between interior and exterior, horizontal and vertical, making the 1400 m2 plot become infinite, with multiplepossibilities.
